Professional Expectations
If you fail to attend a scheduled intro call, scheduled in-person meeting, scheduled shift, or provide requested references without notice, you will be disqualified from future placements.
Maintain professionalism at all times. Clara values Quality Care and Reliability and expects all caregivers to uphold this standard.
Failing to complete your shift with the client will disqualify you from future placements.
1. Placement Matching and Communication
We will reach out to you via text when there is a placement that matches your care skills and experience. The text will include the following: Client's location, the schedule, and hourly rate.
When we reach out with placement offers, please respond with Yes or No as soon as possible. These placements fill quickly.
If you receive multiple placement texts from us and do not respond, this can result in disqualification from the Clara platform. Please communicate your availability changes promptly.
2. Confirm Your Availability
Before responding Yes to a placement, ensure that you can commit to the client's requested schedule.
3. Background Check Process
Once you express interest in a placement, the next step is a mandatory background check.
The background check is free and must be completed As Soon As Possible.
We will send you a link to complete the background check via Checkr, which takes less than 5 minutes. You will need an SSN to complete it.
After completion, your profile is shared with the client.
4. Client Selection Process
If the client decides to move forward with you, the next step may include:
An intro call
An in-person meeting
A reference check (Ensure you have at least 2-3 references from past clients you have cared for, or supervisors from facilities in which you worked.)
5. Start Work!
Once you have matched with a client, a Clara representative will walk you through the process of creating a Clara Caregiver account so you can log your shifts and get paid seamlessly through the Clara platform.
